- Three bead-beating technology homogenizers (Precellys 24)
- An infrared spectrometer (Direct Detect®) for measuring protein concentration using an infrared (IR) -based protein quantitation system by quantifying amide bonds in protein chains; protein assay with such an instrument is unaffected by amino acid composition, dye binding properties or reduction-oxidation potential
- A state-of-the-art fluidics robot (epMotion 5073) for loading samples in 96 well plates and then in 384 well-plates in serial dilutions
- A state-of-the-art autostainer (Autostainer Link 48) for staining the slides with primary and IR-conjugated secondary antibodies
- A state-of-the-art IR scanner (Innoscan 710-IR) for dot intensity quantification including software for the analysis (MAPIX) and a slide Autoloader
- Three dedicated TwinGuard ULT Freezers (PHCBI MDF-U700VX) with the capacity of accommodating > 116,000 samples and lysates
- Minor capital equipment for assisting in sample preparation and antibody validation (refrigerated centrifuges, 8 automated Western blotting systems, Thermomixers, etc)
- Five vacuum-foiling machines (Milestone TissueSafe PLUS) for preserving tissues obtained from the operating theater in a formalin-free environment for up to 48 hours, until sample collection
- Samples, data and overall RPPA workflow is monitored by a custom-made web-based software by reading the bar- or QR-code of any sample, lysate, antibody, plate or slide (https://db.rppa.hu), minimizing human intervention
