Some of the machines for the RPPA workflow are not yet available due to an ongoing public tender. The purchase and delivery of the equipments will occur around September 2018. However, the funds from grant VEKOP 2.3.3-15-2016-00012 are sufficient for obtaining the following:

- 2 bead-beating technology homogenizers

- An instrument for measuring protein concentration using an infrared (IR) -based protein quantitation system by quantifying amide bonds in protein chains; protein assay with such an instrument is unaffected by amino acid composition, dye binding properties or reduction-oxidation potential

- A state-of-the-art fluidics robot for loading samples in 96 well plates and then in 384 well-plates in serial dilutions

- A state-of-the-art arrayer that will print the samples from the 384 plates on nitrocellulose-coated glass sldes

- A state-of-the-art autostainer for staining the slides with primary and IR-conjugated secondary antibodies

- A state-of-the-art IR scanner for dot intensity quantification of the slides including software for the analysis

- 2 dedicated ultrafreezers with the capacity of accommodating > 70,000 samples and lysates

- Minor capital equipment for assisting in sample preparation and antibody validation (refrigerated centrifuges, 4 automated Western blotting systems, Thermomixers, etc)
